Thought Broadcast - Up-Maker 7"

"Thought Broadcast
Up-Maker
ppr21 /
7"
Four song 7" by Thought Broadcast. A schizo blend of atonal post-punk primitivism and partially submerged rhythm-box dub. A perfect mainline through TB's singular vein of primitive calculation. This 7" being the first vinyl release in the already rarefied tb discography.

Letterpressed and die-cut sleeve with insert."

Highly recommended to readers of this blog. Murky mystery-electronics and muted shuffle that would've sounded right at home as a 7th cassette in Vanity Records' Working On a Plan box. The most astute of you will notice a few arcane references to cult Japanese groups...

This 7 inch is by my top homeboy. Heavy collector & very deep... Total mystery sound. I'm glad you were able to come across it! I think anyone who follows this blog will enjoy this record.

Got my copy of this today. Listening to it right now - great release! Esp. the B side. Many thanks for tipping me off to this, C!

Anybody heard the cassettes? Are they also good?

the tape that was released on hierodule label called " II" is hard to get but very much worth it. still available from volcanic tongue distro it looks like. very very underground release as it seems all thought broadcast material is. sound is similar to seven inch very mysterious inner city music. maybe someone should upload the tape?
